I had a very successful and very enjoyable weekend at Handmade St Anne's in the centre of Barnstaple. I met lots of lovely people and enjoyed chatting to them and finding out more about who my customers are and who they are buying my jewellery for.
For example, I know there is a young lady tuning 18 soon who has recently had her ears pierced and she is about to receive 2 pairs of different pearl drop earrings to start off her collection! I also met some great men buying for their wives and partners, and I met some lovely women who wanted to treat themselves, (and why not?) I also met a few ladies about to tie the knot who are considering a little something pearly or sparkly to add those all important finishing touches!
That's what so great about events, you hear all the stories about what the jewellery is for and how and where it will be worn, all of which makes me very happy, and makes all the hard work worthwhile.
It was exciting to see pictures of my work in the North Devon Journal this week in publicity for the show, check out the article by clicking the image of Vintage Rose Aqua.
So, this week's jobs include...
