Why it’s perfectly okay to spend your wedding budget on YOU!

In years to come what will people remember about your wedding? Your wedding guests may in time forget what the table decorations were like, what welcome drink awaited them, the extra sweet table that you provided, and even some of the food and drink that they consumed. However, the picture of you as a bride, when you walk down the aisle and throughout the whole wedding day will stay with them always!

This is why I truly believe that it's perfectly fine to spend the budget on you, because you (and your partner) are the ones that all your guests will remember for years to come.

Occasionally I meet brides who feel guilty or a little reckless allocating some of their wedding budget on bridal accessories, they feel they should spend it all on their guests. Yet all too often, I see photos of amazing looking brides, the dress is beautiful, the bridal hair and make up wonderful, and the bouquet is gorgeous but then I see a mass produced or poorly made, clunky hair accessory placed in the most beautiful styled hair and my heart sinks. It just fails to complete the look in a pleasing way and lets down the rest. For me, this is like having the most stunningly decorated Christmas tree and topping it with a naff £1 star from the pound shop! (no offence to the pound shop)

What I'm not saying it has to be expensive to look good, it really doesn't, and you should never stretch beyond where your comfortable. What I'm also not saying is that those other styling or food elements don't add to the day, they really, really do. What I am saying is don't feel bad about it. It's your wedding and spending money on your bridal look is perfectly okay.

So don’t feel guilty or overthink it. Honestly, a beautiful wedding headband, bridal comb, hairvine or wedding hair pin will elevate your bridal look and take it to the next level. Not only will you look amazing but it has the ability to make you feel incredibly special and beautiful too. A good bridal hair accessory or wedding jewellery will tie your whole look together and compliment your dress and hairstyle perfectly.

Always remember that YOU are the star of every guests wedding photo, so shine brightly and beautifully and enjoy every moment!
